This workshop is aimed at pianists and performers who want to work in the space between dance and music. The compositional elements cover specific aspects of control and the interplay of music and the human body. On the one hand, the workshop consists of an audition for a future work pla-cement with Alexandra Bachzetsis and, on the other hand, of a study of Massacre: Variations on a Theme. Daily rituals of excess and repetition, as with Tarantism, classic Northern Soul or techno dancing, all become elements of a continuously constructing and deconstructing choreography and score.
